Random Number Generator
Pick a range, pick how many numbers you want, get cryptographically secure random values instantly.
How random is "random"?
We use crypto.getRandomValues(), which pulls entropy from OS-level sources (mouse movement, disk I/O, timing jitter). This is cryptographically secure pseudorandom — indistinguishable from true randomness by any practical test. The output is uniform: every value in your range is equally likely.
Common uses
Pick a random winner from a list, decide who goes first in a game, generate test data, randomly assign chores, or settle a bet. A surprisingly useful tool to have open.
Frequently asked questions
Is this truly random?
Cryptographically secure pseudorandom — indistinguishable from true random. Use it for winners, prizes, and anything non-mission-critical.
Why are some numbers missing?
They are not missing — it is random. Generate more numbers and the distribution will even out.
Can I get unique (no duplicates)?
Not in this version — generate more than you need and delete dupes, or manually verify each pick.
How many at once?
Up to 1,000 per click. Generate in batches if you need more.
Is this suitable for lottery picks?
The math is sound. But remember: buying a lottery ticket is a negative expected value bet.
