How date counting works
The tool subtracts two Unix timestamps (in milliseconds) and divides by 86,400,000 to get days. Years and months are computed by comparing calendar positions rather than raw days — this is why "1 year" is always 12 calendar months even in a leap year. The "include end date" toggle handles the common off-by-one question.
